Encoda Systems, Inc. ("Encoda") is a Denver-based company that provides proprietary software products and services that manage advertising and programming for use in the broadcast television, radio and cable industries. Encoda was formed in August 2000, through the merger of Columbine JDS and Enterprise Software, bringing together the two largest providers of business systems and services for the broadcasting and advertising industries. The Company has a diverse roster of clients, such as NBC, Tribune, Fox, AOL/Time-Warner, AT&T, Viacom and Televisa.

Given the need to schedule, program, track and bill advertisements across all broadcast sectors, the broadcast management software industry has developed over the past 30 years into a sub-sector of the broadcast media industry.
