American Community Newspapers
American Community Newspapers, LLC ("ACN") is a leading publisher of community newspapers and operates in four attractive major U.S. markets: Minneapolis/St. Paul ("Minneapolis"), Dallas/Fort Worth ("Dallas"), Kansas City and Washington, D.C. ACN's group of 63 daily/weekly newspapers and two specialty publications reaches over 825,000 households in the suburban communities surrounding these major cities, and enjoys market-leading circulation penetration in all of its markets. In Minneapolis, the country’s 8th fastest growing metropolitan area, ACN publishes 44 weeklies and one daily newspaper with a total circulation of 462,000. In Dallas, the nation’s 10th largest market, ACN publishes 14 weeklies, two dailies, and one monthly with a total circulation of 261,000. ACN established its first new market with the purchase of two weeklies and two monthlies in northern Virginia outside of Washington, D.C. with a circulation of 105,000. ACN's strong presence in these large markets generates attractive cash flow and provides an excellent platform for future growth. ACN will continue to seek additional acquisition opportunities which incorporate its strategy of making operations more efficient, taking advantage of printing synergies and increasing revenue opportunities to improve cash flow.
